Jazz With Friends is a piano/sax duo, adding other friends as needed. Lori Rosolowsky (piano and vocal) and Mike Seifried (saxophone) play a mix of jazz standards, pop standards from the 1960s and 70s, and original material performed in a lively and entertaining style.
Their show “Oldies and Newbies” is a cabaret style performance featuring a combination of standards from the American Songbook and original songs written by Lori and Mike.
In addition to being an accomplished classical pianist, Lori Rosolowsky is a singer songwriter whose style and voice have been compared to Carole King and Carly Simon. Her mission is to create music that inspires people to make the world a better place. She is equally at home in the classical, jazz and musical theater worlds. She performs with the Doylestown Heat Jazz Band, the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra and with the Phillips Mill Community Theatre, where she writes, acts and sings in their Comedy Cabaret Shows.
Saxophonist Mike Seifried is probably busier in retirement than he was when he worked as an international marketing executive. Passionate about music and especially jazz, he performs widely with ensembles including the Doylestown Heat Jazz Band, the Montgomery County Concert Band and several smaller groups. He is also a talented audio engineer and web designer, specializing in websites for non-profit organizations whose goals he supports. Visit Mike’s web site.
